Projects
I am a creative. My motto? We were put on this earth to love. I truly believe love is manifested through the art that we share and the stories they tell. I love the art of storytelling. Whether it's catching up with one of the girls, watching an ad on tv, or the dope outfit a stranger has on the street. People have something to say. And I think we should listen. Allow me to share my story. These are a few projects in which I've assisted, collaborated, and occassionally directed.
Production Assistant with Beyond8 at Culture Con
As described in Vogue, Culture Con is a convention that allows Black creative professionals and entrepreneurs to connect, learn, and build together. The convention consisted of panels, brand activations, a career fair, and more! Some of the featured speakers consisted of Cynthia Erivo, Yara Shahidi, Law Roach, and Tyler James Williams. I joined Beyond8, the international experiential event production company responsible for producing Culture Con annually, as a PA.
The Black Hairstyle Guide
Some of our core memories that shaped us growing up took place in the beauty salon. I remember waiting, flipping through magazines and eyeing the posters on the walls trying to figure out what specific style I wanted, or what special design I could get to make it unique.
The Black Hairstyle Guide is a display of Black women's creativity, talent, beauty, and uniqueness. In this project, I held the role of Assistant Creative Director, Stylist, and Model.
Black Fashion Fair x Theophilio SS25 Runway Show Intern
September 2024 I had the pleasure of assisting with back of house production for the Theophillio SS25 Runway Show, produced by Black Fashion Fair. Some of my responsibilities included setting up the set for BOH production, assisting with styling, and preparing goody bags and placing them. I was available to run last minute errands as well as direct models and crew.

Often times, it can be quite challenging to get an invite to the table. The esteemed Ms. Shirley Chisholm once gave us great advice that is passed from generation to generation: “If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.” How times have changed. Folding chairs have new uses in this generation.
This concept is meant to convey the power of black cultural influence. We have the power to build our own table and dress it up however we see fit. We're taking back our power and changing the norms, one blinged out chain at a time.
